There is now a growing awareness amongst Americans that we live our lives surrounded by chemicals; many of which can pose significant health risks. An increasing number of parents are using this new information to decide upon bedding for their new baby’s nursery.
Organic baby bedding consists of several elements brought together in unison. Along with certified organic cotton, conventionally grown cotton and hypoallergenic polyester fills are often combined with several other fabrics to create the organic baby bedding. On the other hand, some organic bedding blend organically cultivated cotton fibers with other natural types, such as wool or unadulterated hemp. Some studies suggest that a baby’s small body more readily absorbs and retains pesticide residues than does an adult’s body; organic bedding helps keep this exposure from happening.
